We were here in December 2019 because we had an excellent experience in the old restaurant 2 years ago. Unfortunately, the quality in the new restaurant has changed fundamentally. The goat chestnut ordered as a starter didn't make a fresh impression on us. In our view, the curry sauce and the red cabbage salad did not fit the terrine. We had goose as the main course. We have never received such a dry goose in a restaurant. The side dishes were ok. My wife then had chocolate tarts with a soft core as a dessert - unfortunately our search for the soft core was unsuccessful. The side dishes for this dessert did not fit at all. The service was very friendly and tried hard - but unfortunately completely overwhelmed. We will not be going back.

It's time for an evaluation. The move to the large building was certainly not easy for the owners. We are well aware of the initial difficulties, but we also waited with the first visit. There is also a lot of talk in a small town. It's a shame, we in Neuenhaus have again a nice hotel with a restaurant in a really nice and old building. This should please us. I am always happy when I see that there is light and candlelight again in this beautiful location at the Mühlenkolk. I think you should be able to forgive mistakes, we all do some, especially when our nerves are already on the edge. One shouldn't hold grudges forever because of a visit. We are greeted very friendly every time and have always eaten very fresh and delicious. If something is not good, you can say it - based on the operator's request at the very beginning "talk to us but not about us". It is always asked whether everything is okay. The menu is rather small but nice, which for us always speaks for quality and freshness. Everyone can find something and those who can't find anything can follow the suggestion on the map "if you haven't found anything, talk to us". A suitable wine and a delicious beer are always found quickly. The dessert is always suitable for us - everything is very, very tasty and if you feel a little hungry, take a scoop of the Greetsiel pastry ice cream. We took part in the buffet several times, which was sensational. We haven't taken part in the lunch menu yet, but I've already heard that it is very tasty at a great price. From the beginning of January there will be a new menu that reads very well. As far as I know more actions are planned. We in this region should be happy that someone is tackling such a project and we should support Mr. Kramer and his team. He is always ready for a conversation and listens to questions, suggestions and criticism attentively and above all in a friendly manner.

Nice, upscale atmosphere at fair prices. We felt very comfortable here as a couple. One is happy to respond to the guest here. I was surprised that national beer specialties are also offered.

We visited Kramers Haus Brünemann a little bit by accident when we got lost looking for a different restaurant. But what a great strike of luck it was! The scenery is very nice as the place is located in a small town close to a small lake. It’s really quiet and if you sit outside you will hear the water running through the big waterwheel, providing a very cozy atmosphere. The inside is classic German gasthaus style and is nicely decorated with many places to sit which will make it good for larger companies. Almost everyone in our company decided to go for the house schnitzel, besides one person who went for the steak they had on the menu. Everyone was extremely pleased with the food. The schnitzel was perfectly thick and both very crispy and juicy. Sides were good as well and the size of the dish was so generous that no one of us was able to eat it all. The person who had the steak was also very pleased and it was cooked as requested. It was very tender and juicy as well. The staff was friendly and accommodating and overall we had a really good time and experience. I would definitely visit this place again if I’m around the area.

From Tuesday to Friday there is an ever changing delicious lunch menu with a small soft drink for EUR 8.50 On the wonderful sun terrace with a view of the Mühlenkolk, the lunch break becomes a short break.

Have not eaten such a delicious and freshly prepared meal in a long time. The service absolutely top. With special requests, there was no such thing, we always do it for granted

We dined with the entire team at Kramers Haus Brünemann last year. The evening was great, the atmosphere in the restaurant is great and the staff are nice and helpful. We'd love to come back again. Asparagus is highly recommended during the season;) Keep it up!

Outstanding! In addition to our actual menu selection, we received a "greeting from the kitchen" not only before the starter, but also between the starter and the main course. All dishes were elaborately arranged, of more than sufficient quantity and of first-class quality. Admittedly not cheap, but worth every penny. Service very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!!!

Been here some time ago for a weekend getaway. Beautiful setting but what an unfriendly and rude owner !!! The service was very slow. It all took a very long time before we had our main meal but well that can happen. But when we ordered dessert it really took a long time. So when it took us too long I went in to order the dessert. However, this was not accepted by the owner !? We had to wait for the words like “it will be so soon” and the like. All this went in a compelling and irritated way. For my part once again explained that we couldn't wait any longer. This made the owner really angry and very rude to me then. At that moment it ran high, everything was very unpleasant. Eventually broke up with an argument, owner made no effort to accommodate us or fix the situation. He just got more annoyed. Never experienced this before !! You really don't treat your guests that way. We never come here again and I advise other guests to definitely choose a different restaurant or hotel in otherwise beautiful surroundings.

Great hotel, nice clean rooms. Friendly staff, good kitchen.

Went there at Christmas with 18 people. We had reserved a table at half past one. The starter came at about 2 a.m., the main course at 3 a.m. sometime. The same was then also cold, or lukewarm. Visually great, but in terms of taste rather mediocre. We then saved the dessert, otherwise we wouldn't have finished waiting before the shop closed. The waitresses did everything in their power to make the afternoon as pleasant as possible for us, the manager of the house, however, was extremely unfriendly and, with the statement that we would never come back anyway, didn't give a discount on the price. Since the table had been reserved in advance, it can be assumed that the staff there will be able to cope with such large groups, but this is obviously not the case. Would like to give a sprouting star or even negative stars, solely due to the insolence of the owner. So don't be blinded by good looks.
